Alpha courses at St Andrew with St Alban in the Parish of Mottingham

These courses explore the deeper questions of life from a Christian point of view. 29 million people have now participated in Alpha courses in 150 countries. We have conducted Alpha courses in both St Andrew's and St Alban's churches.

Our last Alpha course, held at St Alban's, used the new film format: an afternoon tea followed by a 25 minute TV presentation and then open discussion. We have also used the Youth Alpha Film Series with our young people.

Our next Alpha Course commences in November 2019 and will run once a month until March 2020 at St Alban's.. The themes and dates are given on the poster attached in the pdf file below. The invitation to the first Alpha Sunday (shown in the photo of Revd Tim Ndegwa below) is also attached. Please do join us and receive your free copy of the New Testament. We look forward to seeing you!

On Alpha Sundays we will have a short service from 11am until noon which is especially designed to interest newcomers and occasional visitors as well as those in our regular congregation. Each Alpha Sunday will focus on one significant question relating to life and Christianity and a short talk will address this question. An interview will also be included and the service will feature well-known Christian songs. If they wish, visitors can discuss the questions after the service when drinks will be served. Newcomers are particularly welcome!
