Christian Aid Week 2020 Zoom Quiz
The Churches Together In Mottingham (CTIM) Virtual Quiz held on Friday 15 May 2020 attracted over 60 participants sharing 38 connections on Zoom and on 17 May had raised nearly £1900 (including Gift Aid). Quizmaster Mick Wood set the questions and also ran the quiz. With so many participants the potential for 'organised chaos' was always a potential threat, but Mick's skill in using Zoom and managing the virtual meeting ensured that the event was a great success. CTIM organiser, Diane Hudson praised Mick for running the event so well and thanked the participants for donating so generously. The quiz winner was Glenda Cooper from Bexleyheath, whose friend Ellie from Luxembourg also participated! All in all, it was an enjoyable 90 minutes spent 'virtually' with others in the community for a deserving cause!
