This page was created to seek and gather church members views about the role of St Andrew's Church in their lives and in the community. It is very difficult to express our friendship and fellowship with one another during this time of distancing. Nevertheless, we felt we wanted to mark the special occasion and demonstrate our 'togetherness', even if it couldn't be a party! Accordingly, a mini online questionnaire was put on this page to help the St Andrew with St Alban PCC in its task of taking St Andrew's forward. Questionnaires were also sent to all members on the St Andrew's electoral roll. All replies will be treated anonymously, The three questions asked were:

What aspects of St Andrew's Church do you appreciate, enjoy, value?
Have you any questions about how St Andrew's could, or should, minister to you and to the wider community?
Is there any particular concern you would like us to pray for?

Your responses (65% of the electoral roll) and thoughts have been summarised by our PCC Secretary to support future meetings. Your wishes, thoughts and prayers were blessed as part of the dedicated offering which we made on St Andrew's Day. We want you to feel that St Andrew's is your church and is a caring and loving community which attends to your concerns and needs.

St Andrew's Day Festival Service

St Andrew's Day, this year is being marked by the specially recorded Festival Service which you can view in the video below. It will also be available on the St Andrew's FaceBook page from Saturday 28 November 2020.

The service, introduced by the Rector, Revd Ian Welch, features members of the choir, the congregation and our organist. The Rt Revd Dr Karowei Dorgu, the Bishop of Woolwich, kindly gives the homily in this service which has been curated by Thomas Bridges, producer of online services for Eltham Virtual Church.

Sunday 29 November is St Andrew's church Gift Day so we would very much appreciate your donation. The Mission and Ministry of St Andrew's Parish Church is to serve the wider community of its large parish. We urgently need to install broadband and WiFi in the church and halls. This will allow us to stream services and events to the housebound and add greater flexibility to the users of our halls.
